"We Wish You a Merry Christmas" - Completed
Takach wrote an arrangement of this familiar carol on commission
from the New Mexico Gay Men's Chorus. It'll be set for TBB voices
with djembe, bongos, and triangle. The premiere will take place
during the NMGMC's 2008 Christmas season.

"Something There is Immortal"
Hilary Morton and the Lawrence Free State High School choir
commissioned Tim to set the Walt Whitman poem "On the Beach
at Night" for SATB a cappella. The piece will be premiered in
Lawrence, KS on March 5, 2009.

2009 Kalamazoo Bach Festival
Tim will be a clinician for the High School Choral Festival portion
of this event in Kalamazoo, MI, February 11-12, 2009.

"To Live Forever" - Completed
John Slawson, director of Heartland Voices, a professional
chorus out of Elgin, IL, commissioned Tim to write a 4-5
minute work for their May 17, 2008 concert. The text is an
excerpt from Francis Hodgson Burnett's The Secret Garden.
