Commissioned by Gregory and Maura Harris, in memory of Mary Yolanda
Dowling, whose beautiful voice was silenced on September 11th, 2001, and
those who perished with her. To be premiered by Cantus in the fall of 2011.

Cantus will premiere this work in Minneapolis and St. Paul in mid-October, but I'd be interested in other men's groups performing the piece shortly after that in the fall of 2011. Libera me, Domine, de morte aeterna, in die illa tremenda:
Quando caeli movendi sunt et terra.
Dum veneris judicare saeculum per ignem.
Tremens factus sum ego, et timeo, Quando caeli movendi sunt et terra.

Lux aeterna luceat eis, Domine. (Requiem aeternam)
No man hath greater love than this, to lay down his life for his friends.
In paradisum deducant te Angeli:

Deliver me, O Lord, from eternal death on that fearful day,
