A rare opportunity to hear Minnesota-based composers share repertoire and stories about what inspires them to create. Performance will feature the Chione Woodwind Quintet, percussionist Erik Barsness, a chamber chorus of professional singers, and the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Senior Choir under the direction of David Mennicke. Abbie Betinis (left) is a composer whose music has been called ‘superb, edgy, and thrilling’. Jocelyn Hagen’s (center) music is dramatic, deeply moving, and boldly beautiful. Tim Takach (right) has risen fast in the concert world and his music has been reviewed as ‘gorgeous with intriguing harmonies’.
